Wedding Photography | Bolton | Ruth and James
Ruth and James married in St Mary’s Church in Horwich. The church was very pretty. Although I wasn’t allowed up at the front during the service, or to use flash, I did sneak up near the front to get some of these shots. I couldn’t resist. Some shots were taken from a balcony at the back of the church.
The reception was held at the Wrightington Hotel and Country Club in Wigan. The hotel was lovely, and the gardens were a great place to get some fantastic shots of the happy couple.
Ruth and James are a lovely couple, and they have great family and friends. I was honoured to be their photographer. I hope they have a lovely life together.
We are just about getting over ‘the best day of our lives.’ A day to be remembered and Yolanda certainly helped us to do just that by producing so many amazing photos. I’m the kind of bride who wasn’t fussed about a photographer but was soon talked into having one by family and friends. And, aren’t I glad?! As we were having a late day wedding I didn’t want to be spending hours having photographs taken as this time in my eyes, was precious to me- I wanted to spend as much of it with my new husband and my nearest and dearest. With Yolanda we were able to do just that. She made no fuss, she was easy going, did what we wanted to do and captured so many great posed and candid shots. I barely knew Yolanda was there, but she was exactly where she needed to be and stuck around till the party got started. Our guests are still telling us how lovely our photos are and how reflective they are of an amazing day had by all. I’m grateful to Yolanda for proving me wrong- we did need a photographer at our wedding after all, so thank you so much once again. We will cherish these photos forever. Mr & Mrs Baron
